The strategic document, inter alia, contains a letter of intent about cooperation in expanding various wholesale and retail services and other areas of marketing and saleas well as information technology and telecommunication. Furthermore, companies set out that the parties will investigate the opportunities for cooperation in the regional markets in the future.

"Today two dominant companies of the Central-European region have signed an agreement for future cooperation. As of today MOL will look at Magyar Telekom as a strategic partner, and the parties will strive for growing and creating value while supporting each other. The cooperation will offer mutual benefits for both parties, moreover it can also contribute to expanding Hungary’s economy," commented Zsolt Hernádi MOL Chairman-CEO.
