CBRE Hungary Moves to Eiffel Palace in the New Year

CBRE Hungary, the local affiliate of the world’s largest property advisor signed a long term lease contract in one of the most prestigious office buildings in Budapest. The company will move its head office to Eiffel Palace in Q1 2015.

Central European Office Market Update

According to Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) the world’s largest privately held commercial real estate services firm’s latest Central European office market update, by the end of September 2014 take-up in the CEE region exceeded 1.17 million sq m compared with only 410,000 sq m of new supply being delivered to the market.

10.000 sqm tenant stays with CA IMMO

New lease contracts signed in the past few weeks cover an office space of all together 3000 sqm and 2500 sqm retail space at Dunacenter. In addition, contracts were renewed with several existing tenants in 2014. Recently, Hewlett-Packard has renewed its 9 500 s qm lease agreement in Bartók Ház office building, while Avon has moved into Capital Square as new tenant. In the January-October period CA IMMO has signed lease contracts for more than 51000 sqm.

Skanska launched its Nordic Light office project in Budapest

Skanska started the construction works of its seventh office building in Budapest. Nordic Light, as it has been named, is being developed on inner Váci road, the main office corridor of Budapest. Phase I is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2016.

New green offices in Budapest

Three Budapest office buildings of Raiffeisen Evolution (RE) recently won certifications in Gold by ÖGNI at the end of September. The Austrian Sustainable Building Council awarded REsidence 1 and 2 office buildings and Rumbach Center with the most prestigious recognition. Leasing developments in Business Center 91

The office market has experienced an ongoing recovery in the recent period.
